I had LASEK at a clinic in front of Exit 1 in Gangnam right after finishing the college entrance exam in high school. This clinic is what people commonly call a factory-style clinic; the price is low, but there are many people, and the atmosphere is such that they can’t pay close attention to me personally. It was the first surgery I’d ever had in my life, so I was nervous, but the actual surgery was no big deal and was over within 20 minutes. But for 3 days after the surgery, my eyes hurt and I couldn’t open them, so it was really hard. However, after those 3 days passed, it became so comfortable that I’m very satisfied, and whenever people around me are debating whether to get LASEK, I always recommend it. It’s been over 3 years since the surgery now, and my vision is still 1.2, and it’s still fine. It’s a safe surgery with more proven stability than I expected, so if anyone is debating it, I definitely recommend it.
