I’m very, very satisfied after SMILE LASIK, but the glare is worse than I expected.... The clinic says it should get better with time, but it’s been over half a year and it’s still bad.. At night, streetlights and car headlights bother me so much. Is it just me? I paid so much for it....
But even taking the side effects into account, it’s much more comfortable and I’m much happier than when I had to wear contact lenses. They say glare can be worse if your pupils are large, and mine are apparently larger than average... If you have large pupils, I recommend thinking it over a bit more before doing it.
