So I just went to the place where my dad had surgery 7-8 years ago and got a consultation I was also thinking about double eyelid surgery afterward, so because I wanted to have surgery as soon as possible, I decided on surgery right on the day I went for the consultation and had it done
Up to this point.. I thought it was okay
At the time, I had a Monday-Friday part-time job, so I asked several times whether I could recover within the weekend But during the consultation they clearly said I would definitely be able to go to work after 2-3 days, yet I could barely see with my eyes for the entire week Of course, I also could not go to my part-time job for about 4 days
And because I felt anxious about not being able to see well at all, only then did I look up various reviews, and I found out that it was actually normal for the clinic to explain the preoperative examination results to the patient in detail, so I gradually felt that something had gone wrong During my preoperative consultation, the only explanation I heard about my eyes was, 'severe astigmatism and myopia'
And even when I went for postoperative checkups, they did not properly measure my vision + did not tell me anything They just said, It looks fine~ and that was it And they had clearly said eye makeup was okay, so I wore makeup on the checkup day, but when the doctor saw my eye condition, he suddenly said why did you do your makeup so heavily Then he blamed me, saying that was why my eyes were recovering slowly When I said, I did it because you said eye makeup was okay at that time, he said he did not know I would do it this heavily.. I was just speechless
Until the second month I could see well, but these days I cannot see well again, so I am worried. But even if I go for a checkup, they will not tell me anything in detail, and no matter what I ask, I only hear answers like it will get better later / it is your fault, so I just do not want to go for checkups
When I looked it up later, even the Naver reviews, which are supposedly hard to make bad, were a mess, and it was a hospital that threatened unfavorable reviewers by saying they would sue them or whatever..
It is obvious, but everyone, even for a simple procedure, please make sure to shop around before going!!
