I had surgery in 2020.04, and it has been a little under 4 years. There was nothing especially difficult after surgery, and I think my target vision of 1.0 has been maintained so far. However, my left eye seems like it may be starting to show a slight decline in vision.
Honestly, I think vision correction may be the surgery you can be most satisfied with for the price. Side effects vary from person to person, but I do not think it is a surgery where you need to worry excessively about side effects. I have nighttime glare/halos, but if I weigh the gains and losses, the gains are overwhelmingly greater, so I am satisfied.
