Before<I was told I looked like Mask Girl 100 times.. hehe>Before<Before>After<After>After<After>After my first surgery, my already long midface got even longer, which was frustrating enough, but then, of all things lol, it felt like the tip of my nose was starting to droop too, on top of everything else. So my midface looked like almost 2/3 of my face. My friends also said the center of my face seemed to keep getting longer (not joking, seriously), so in the end I chose revision surgery. They say there’s not much you can do surgically about the midface, but I heard that if the nasal tip or length is adjusted to some extent, it can look better, so holding on to that one hope, I went to every hospital known for revision surgery. I did go to hospitals famous for revision surgery, but I mainly went to private clinics, even if they were a bit less famous, where the consultation was thorough..
That was Bbly Plastic Surgery, and during the consultation with Director Kim Ji-hoon, I really felt like he understood what I wanted, so I decided on it. Honestly, there were hospitals more famous than Bbly, but I passed on them because the doctors seemed to rush the consultation too much. (Because I thought they would probably be even more careless when checking my progress later.) Anyway, it’s been a little over a month since surgery, and he said the swelling hasn’t completely gone down yet, but I already really like this shape now, and I’m satisfied because I think once the swelling goes down a bit more, it’ll settle into exactly the line I wanted. Most of all, the shortening of my midface is really noticeable! Who said midface length can’t be improved with surgery.. lololol It definitely feels like my face looks about 2-3 cm shorter?? Anyway, I’m satisfied hehe…
Also, what I realized this time is that for consultations, you absolutely have to go to many places and choose the hospital that fits you well. No matter how good a hospital is, if it doesn’t fit me, it’s a fail.. I only visited places with all good reviews, but honestly some were not great. I just started thinking that there really is a different hospital that fits each person.. Everyone, really look up lots of reviews and make sure to visit many places in person. That’s the only answer..
