Before <before surgery> After <post-op day 7> This is a review written after getting my stitches removed.
Original concerns: low nasal bridge, bulbous nose
Reason for choosing the clinic: The weather was too hot and I was feeling lazy, so instead of visiting many places in person, I did online research through apps and planned to choose two or three places for consultations. At this clinic's consultation, they explained things in more detail than other places. They drew on the monitor to match the line I wanted for the surgery and explained the surgical method and so on. They explained everything in detail and kindly, and the director explained calmly in a gentle manner, so I felt I could trust them and decided to have the surgery.
Day of surgery: I had a severe headache on the way home after surgery, so as soon as I got home I took the prescribed medication and also took Tylenol. After that, mild headache and chills. I was mouth-breathing because of the nasal packing, but I did not feel that my mouth dryness was severe.
Post-op day 1: Ear pain. At the hospital, nasal packing removed, ear packing removed, and received putty to prevent ear deformity.
Post-op day 2: Swelling at its peak. No ear pain unless touching the ear. A lot of nasal discharge. Quite a bit of sneezing and coughing.
Post-op day 3: Swelling decreased. Nasal discharge continued. Able to breathe through the nose.
Post-op day 4: Discharge decreased. Swelling descended to the deep cheek area.
Post-op day 5 onward: Major swelling disappeared.
Post-op day 7 (stitch removal): Splint and intranasal drainage tube removed. External nasal stitches removed. Sebum-related breakouts at the splint area.
Review so far I am very satisfied. Since the swelling has not fully gone down yet, the nasal line and height will settle lower, but compared with before surgery, my nose definitely seems slimmer and higher, so I am satisfied.
