2-week review of low nose surgery

Before after after Since my nose had been a complex of mine since I was young, I looked into various places and decided to have surgery at Cheoeumcheoreom! For the surgery, I had a 4mm ear cartilage graft using the septum :)

Actually, I decided on surgery because I wanted nostril-wing reduction, but after consulting with the consultant and the director, I ended up raising the nasal tip. They said that rather than doing nostril-wing reduction on my nose, raising the nose a bit would balance the overall face, and it would also make the nasal tip look smaller. Just like they said, I think the surgical result came out really pretty. My nose looks higher, and because the nasal tip became higher, it also had the effect of making the nostril wings look a bit smaller.

And the swelling went down faster than I expected. After about 3 days, the major swelling subsided, and by week 2 it had gone down so much that it didn’t even look like I had surgery. I think taking short walks and keeping my head tilted upward as much as possible to help blood circulation helped a lot. (+ I also ate food with as little salt as possible.)

Anyway, I’m satisfied with the result! I feel like the overall balance of my face has improved, and most of all I love that my side profile comes out pretty in photos :) It’s really natural too. I kept pleading with the director for naturalness, and it turned out very well. My family says they can’t really tell either. I hope everyone has beautiful cosmetic surgery :)
