Still, the bridge was holding up, so I tried not to worry about it, but my nose started getting blocked more often and breathing became uncomfortable enough that I went to a hospital. When I asked, they said cartilage was protruding inward, and I had also developed a deviated septum and nasal valve stenosis ㅎ..ㅠㅜ I thought side effects were something you could only know right after surgery, but I guess not;; Anyway, since the functional issues had to be improved first, I thought revision surgery was unavoidable, and because I felt my impression would change even more, I decided to also correct the short nose again.
I had heard a lot before about hypertrophic rhinitis, deviated septum, and nasal valve correction, but they told me I would probably need inferior turbinate reduction too? I was worried, like how much cutting are they going to do ㅜㅠㅠ.. but it wasn’t an incisional procedure lol I heard there are ENT clinics that do it too. Anyway, I don’t remember exactly, but they said it’s a procedure where they insert a needle and apply heat.. For the cosmetic part, well.. the hospital’s default style is the straight-to-slightly-curved, glamorous look I wanted, so I wasn’t too worried. I was concerned about the cartilage that had been sticking out inward, so I asked how many mm they put in for the nasal bridge lol They said 4 mm. Now that it’s about 1 month, I feel like my breathing is slowly starting to improve, and I like it. The functional surgery was a separate 2.8 million won. What I wrote above is only the cosmetic nose surgery cost!
