Since it was my first time getting plastic surgery, I thought a bigger hospital would probably have better equipment and skills than a small clinic, so I should have looked around carefully and chosen cautiously. But because of my work schedule and because I rushed into it, I think my 3-part facial contouring failed
Today is day 69, and looking at the problems that have developed so far,
1. I had a T-osteotomy + setback of the chin, and now I have an orange-peel chin wrinkle + when seen from the side, the swelling in the chin looks like I’m carrying a fist there. 2. Below that, it has sagged, so I developed a double chin. 3. I don’t know how they sutured the mentalis muscle, but my lips became asymmetric too. The hospital says this is swelling too,, 4. Cheekbone asymmetry: the hospital tells me the swelling still hasn’t gone down, but anyone can tell it’s palpable bone, so there’s no way this is swelling. So I went to another radiology clinic and got a CT scan, and the size inside the zygomatic arch is larger on the right than on the left. In other words, I think I developed cheekbone asymmetry.
For now, I booked a 3-month follow-up appointment at the hospital, but would they also do something like aftercare/revision support, like with double eyelids or other surgeries?
