Before/after/after/after Now that it’s been 9 months, even though it hasn’t been a year since surgery yet, it feels like everything has settled into place. I think by around one year, all the swelling will be completely gone. At first, since I had so many things done at once, I couldn’t open my eyes and wondered if a person could swell this much. Now I can’t believe it hasn’t even been a year since surgery yet.
