Before <under-eye fat before eye surgery in 2019> After <immediately after eye surgery in May 2022> After <around 20 days after surgery in May 2022 - the surgery went well, and the strange wrinkles around my eyes suddenly appeared after this.> <August 21, 2022 under-eye fat formed again> I wanted to come back with a successful review, but in a situation like this, I don’t know what I should do.
Decision to have surgery: I’ve always had very little facial fat. On top of that, fat started forming under my eyes about 4-5 years ago, and I already had dark circles. Anyway, as those eye bags appeared about 4-5 years ago, I suddenly started hearing a lot that I looked much older within just a few years. Compared with my girlfriend, I looked way too old, and compared with before, I looked suddenly aged, so my self-esteem dropped. Because of COVID, I actually liked wearing a mask. Since it covered my face... As I got older, I also got worn down a lot by people at work and elsewhere, and maybe because I’ve been hurt by those things, my impression looks dark and sharp too. I decided to have surgery because I wanted to look brighter too. Now that it has become like this again, I suddenly feel depressed. Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go, I need to stay strong
Clinic choice: I chose it based on reviews and an acquaintance’s surgical review. Rather than looking around here and there, I just went to the place I first had in mind, got a consultation, and scheduled the surgery. The consultant was rather stiff, and the nurse and doctor were kind.
Surgery: When I first got on the operating table, I was very nervous and scared. The doctor treated me kindly before performing the surgery, and the nurses were kind too.
After surgery: Rested while reducing swelling. The swelling lasted about a week.
Progress: Around exactly two weeks after surgery, the swelling had almost gone down and the progress was good. The dark circles disappeared, and my tired-looking eyes also disappeared, so I felt satisfied myself. People I met at the time told me that I suddenly looked brighter, and I was so grateful. Suddenly getting compliments and having my tired face disappear... it felt so good. I also started smiling more at my girlfriend. I wondered whether I had this side to me too... But after 20 days, just when I was feeling relieved, a wrinkle suddenly formed under my eye in a slightly strange way, and they said it was because the scar was healing. I’m still waiting on this wrinkle now, and it seems to be getting a little better. At first, after the surgery, my dark circles were gone and the protruding under-eye bags had disappeared, so I was happy... But the eye bags that had disappeared have come back like before. I’m really tearing up.
What should I do? It’s been about 100 days, and suddenly within one week it became like this. This seems like a failure, right? (There were some signs from the beginning of this month, and then it became like this.) Why is my body like this? I also want to live smiling with a bright appearance. I thought I should ask the doctor and accurately understand my condition before making the clinic public, so for now I have kept it private. If the doctor explains that this may improve with time, I think I should wait. Personally, I don’t think that will be the case. What do you all think?
I have almost no fat on my face. In that case, what should people with little facial fat do? Has anyone with almost no facial fat had a successful result?
P.S. - If anyone has an experience like mine, I think you may suddenly feel heaviness below the area around the eyes and feel an unknown tired sensation a lot around the eyes. At times like that, maybe it would help to quickly go to the clinic or massage with something warm. It probably won’t make it worse, right? When I felt that sensation, I just brushed it off thinking I must be tired these days, and I wonder if that was the problem. ㅜ.ㅜ
