I had lateral and lower canthoplasty last year, but I had a side effect where the red mucous membrane was visible in only one eye, and my eye stung and felt very uncomfortable. Especially when I wasn’t feeling well, it would swell and look even more rounded/open, and because the outer corner of my eye was red, everyone who saw me said things like my eye looked sore or I looked tired... It was stressful. After thinking it over, I searched through a lot of plastic surgery clinic information and ended up having reconstruction surgery at The Swan Plastic Surgery, a hospital specializing in canthoplasty reconstruction, and today, on day 10, I had the stitches removed. There is still swelling, so the eye opens a little less, but the red mucous membrane definitely isn’t visible anymore... It’s very good.
