Before<Before>After<After>At the clinic where I had my first eye surgery, I had incisional double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and ptosis correction done together. When the stitches were removed after surgery, the line on my left eye had formed incorrectly toward the knot area rather than along the incision line, so I had revision surgery only on the left side at the same clinic. Even after that, two lines formed, and I didn’t like it. Maybe because of the revision surgery, the baby fat + swelling lasted for about 3 years, so the line rolled inward, to the point that people seeing me for the first time couldn’t tell I had double eyelid surgeryㅠㅠ
I wanted to have revision surgery again, but I didn’t trust the place I had gone to before, so while looking elsewhere, I ended up having it done by Director Ha Sang-wook at Codi Plastic Surgery Clinic.
I had incision + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty, and additionally upper canthoplasty + lower canthoplasty. I said I was okay with it looking like I had plastic surgery, so please make the line higher than my existing line. I told them I didn’t like eyes that looked stuffy! After the revision surgery, my eyes look much more open than before, and the line became one single line, so I’m very satisfied.
It was revision surgery after 8 years, so it hurt a lot, and the swelling lasted a long time too. Around 4 months in, it settled, so I feel so good when doing makeup haha. It still feels a bit swollen when I’m bare-faced, but I don’t regret having the revision surgery and I’m very satisfied.
