I wore glasses all throughout my school years, and this is a whole new world... People who are thinking about getting LASIK do it as soon as they turn twenty, but I did it a bit late. Only the first day stung a little, and since it’s the eyes, I was really worried. They said glare would improve in two weeks too, but it was still bad at one month so I was worried, and then at some point it got okay!! I have a job where I use the computer a lot, but early on I still cut down on both my smartphone and computer, used artificial tears well, and took care of it diligently... haha They say you can work after one day post-op, but I recommend scheduling the surgery around days off.
