Side effects 1. My eyes are dry when I wake up after sleeping. They’re very dry only when I open my eyes, and it doesn’t interfere with daily life X 2. The worst is glare/halos. Especially hard to watch movies at a theater (glare + eye pain from it..) Also, when it’s dark, the light from streetlights spreads a bit badly, so I don’t think I could drive at night...
I always lived with thick glasses even after compressing the lenses 3 times, plus contact lenses, but after LASEK it’s so convenient. I was worried because there were many reviews saying it hurt, but I had no pain at all even right after LASEK. But this depends on the person.. A friend who did it with me said it hurt until day 3. I used to wear contact lenses often, so I don’t feel much difference in eye dryness between now and before LASEK, and although the glare is a bit bad, I’m very satisfied.
