My vision was -9.0 and -8.5, and I had really never seen anyone with worse eyesight than me. I had worn contacts for about 15 years too, but as I entered my 30s, my eyes felt like they couldn’t handle it anymore, so I did it. Because my eyesight was so bad, I wasn’t eligible for SMILE LASEK, and I paid 1.85 million won because I requested the head director for the surgery and there was an additional fee. It’s a factory-style clinic, and everyone around me had it done at Haneul Eye Clinic, so I just naturally did it there too. The surgery is really fast, but the pain was the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life. It hurt from immediately after the surgery ended. Even while waiting for the autologous serum, it was so hard that I leaned on the nurse to put in the eye drops, and on the taxi ride home, I was in so much pain that I even thought I wished a truck would just come and hit me. But it seems like almost no one feels pain like I did. I think I was on the side of feeling pain pretty severely. Even now, without eye drops, it’s hard to open my eyes in the morning,,, but I’m very satisfied. I keep thinking, why didn’t I do it sooner It’s been about 2 years since the surgery, and I think I’ll just have to live with dry eyes and glare at night for the rest of my life.. Even so, I absolutely don’t regret the surgery..
