I only had a vague thought that I wanted to get rhinoplasty, so I didn’t look up any information at all and went for consultations with the careless idea of “I’ll just get a consultation first and decide afterward.”
Wanted a straight-with-slight-slope line Natural, but still noticeable that I had surgery
The first place I visited was ㅂㄴㄴ Plastic Surgery. I had a CT scan and photos taken, then consulted with the consultant and then the director. Since I didn’t have prepared questions or photos, I just talked about what complexes I had about my nose and what kind of feel I wanted. Both the consultant and the director were kind, but maybe the parts I considered complexes about my nose were different from what the director noticed, because he said I needed a lot of things done. I didn’t dislike it, but I wasn’t drawn to it either.
The second clinic I visited was ㅊㄷㅇㅋㅇ Plastic Surgery. Honestly, they were so unfriendly from the phone call that I went with the mindset of “I’ll just get the consultation and come back.” But first of all, the consultant who spoke with me wasn’t particularly kind either, and the director who consulted me was also... I said I wanted it natural but still noticeable, and he scolded me? saying that if that’s what I wanted, wouldn’t it be better not to get nose surgery, and if I wanted it natural, why was I trying to get rhinoplasty? Also, I said I wanted to take a CT scan because I was considering functional nose surgery too, and they said the machine was being fixed and asked me to wait a bit. I waited more than 15 minutes, but in the end I couldn’t get the CT scan, didn’t hear a detailed explanation, and just came out after only hearing possible surgery dates and being told to contact them quickly.
I told all my friends considering rhinoplasty that I do not recommend the second clinic.
Now I’m looking up rhinoplasty information, precautions, and so on, making a list of questions, and preparing to visit more clinics~!
