A review 5 years after surgery!! Before surgery, I had ultra-high myopia of -12, so everyone in my family had lens implantation, and I decided to get lens implantation too. The counselors, doctor, and nurse were all so kind, and I remember really liking that the facility was large and clean. Now, 5 years later, my vision is about 1.0, and my astigmatism has gotten much worse, so when I attend school classes, I always sit in the first row When I go to the movies, the subtitles look blurry too, so I always bring astigmatism-correcting glasses.. Also, my epiphora, where tears stream down when my eyes sting, is really severe, so in winter I carry a handkerchief.. I'll probably be like this for life. But my older sister, who had the same procedure at the same hospital, has none of these side effects and is maintaining really good vision, so maybe it's a problem with my eyes. Still, I'm getting by pretty well.. I'm satisfied.
