I actually went on my consultation tour in October, but I kept putting off writing this until now because I was busy..! I hope this helps everyone who is also looking into nose surgery right now.
My own nose: low bridge (almost none), somewhat broad tip, small nose. I had no idea what kind of nose would suit my face, so I went to consultations with no photos or specific style in mind.
1. ㅂㄴㄴ CT x / consultation fee x It was my first consultation, so I had a lot of questions and no idea how the quote would turn out, so I went in with really high expectations. The clinic was smaller than I expected, and the manager was very friendly. They didn't recommend any other procedures; in fact, they said I didn't need anything else, which I liked. The surgery would be done by the director, so I was expecting an in-depth consultation with the director, but since they had just come out of surgery, they looked very tired even in the morning, said only the necessary things, and the consultation seemed to last less than 5 minutes. The manager was typing next to us and organizing the consultation notes. It wasn't the process I had imagined, so I felt a bit disappointed at that point, but I liked the manager and the price was good, so overall I was very satisfied. No pressure to reserve.
2. ㅁㄷㅇ CT o / consultation fee x The clinic interior was emotional and stylish, so my first impression was good. I waited about an hour longer than my scheduled consultation time. I kept getting nervous while waiting because it seemed like my next clinic appointment might overlap. I talked in more detail with the director than with the manager, and since it was a one-doctor clinic and the director seemed trustworthy, my confidence level was high. Overall I liked it, but the price was higher than expected, so I was conflicted. (For nose surgery alone the price was average, but I was also looking into under-eye fat repositioning, so if you include repositioning + fat grafting, it was relatively expensive. But thinking about it now, it seems similar to the other places) There was no pressure to reserve, though they did keep contacting me afterward!
3. ㅊㅇ-ㅊㄴㅈ CT o / consultation fee o Originally I had booked with director ㅂㅇㄱ a week earlier, but then they suddenly contacted me one or two days before saying the surgery time overlapped, so I was trying to adjust the time and it didn't work out, so I ended up seeing another director I had been considering. I wasn't against seeing the chief director, but I heard the chief director's starting price was higher, so I went just to get a consultation. The price was better than I expected (since I had been worrying so much), and it was similar to ㅁㄷㅇ from before. But the manager was a bit off-putting, and they recommended other procedures. I wasn't thinking about anything other than under-eye correction, but they kept saying that if I also did fat grafting, it would be good, so I got swayed. From here on, I started looking into fat grafting too. This was the most specific and thorough consultation among the clinics I visited, and it was so satisfying that it really felt like actual private tutoring. Honestly, because the consultation fee was expensive, I wanted to get my money's worth, but the director was so meticulous that I was extremely satisfied. It probably went on for a little over an hour. But for some reason I didn't get a good feeling from the manager, and at other clinics I was told that costal cartilage use and osteotomy would be needed, while here I got a different diagnosis, which left me confused. Since I said I was just going around for consultations, they didn't pressure me to reserve.
4. ㄷㄷㅇ CT o / consultation fee x Actually, I had meant to book at ㄷㅇㅇ, but because I rushed to make the reservation the day before, I ended up booking here instead I only found out this fact on the way there that day, so I thought about changing it even then, but since I didn't know any director at ㄷㅇㅇ, I just figured I'd go get a consultation. Why are the clinic names so similar..^^ Anyway, I visited on a weekday afternoon, and it was noisy with Chinese voices, and I even saw a Chinese patient coming out after surgery.. The chaotic atmosphere caught me off guard. The manager felt like a friendly older sister I knew, but she looked like she had just rolled out of bed.. (I was thrown off because she wasn't the neat-looking consultation manager I had imagined) Throughout the consultation, she hovered awkwardly between being friendly and talking down to me like I was young. She kept her shoes off, resting bare feet on top of her shoes and scratching her head while talking, so I felt like I had come for nothing. Still, I went because even if you only came for a consultation, you might end up liking it and deciding to do it there, but I felt like I was just wasting time and energy, and regretted it. But I really liked the director!! The consultation was very thorough, and they actively guided me while showing each silicone implant one by one, so I was very satisfied! But then after the consultation, when I talked with the manager again, the assigned manager said, What did the director just say? (She had been there during the consultation)...Compared to that shocking and bewildering attitude from the manager, I liked the director so much that it felt like a shame to pass on this clinic. (But to be clear, they were not rude another staff member was rude, though) There was no pressure to reserve.
5. ㅁㅇㄷ-ㅇㄱㅇ CT o / consultation fee x / CT fee 10,000 won The first time I booked and visited, they said I could come if I canceled another clinic, so I went in a rush, but then they said I'd have to wait an hour, so I just left (it was in the evening), and visited on another day after making a reservation. Originally I was only planning to get a consultation here too because it was famous, but the reviews were so good, and after getting hooked by a few of them, I kept thinking about this clinic and was almost already decided in my heart. The clinic is big, so the waiting times were long here and there, and the director consultations ended quickly. This clinic is famous for being expensive, so I was really worried, but the price was better than expected (it wasn't more expensive than ㅁㄷㅇ or ㅊㅇ), which was nice! The manager did pressure me to reserve, and it was my first time experiencing that, so I was really flustered, but honestly I had already made up my mind to go with this place, so I just reserved..^^
