My upper arms are on the thicker side, and I disliked how the fat on the back made them look spread out to the sides when I lowered my arms. Even after losing weight, my upper arms barely changed, so I went for a liposuction consultation. The doctor personally felt my arms to check which areas had the most fat and emphasized that creating a natural line from the shoulders to the elbows was more important than removing too much. They also examined the back of my arms and the area near my armpits together. I was curious about the scar location and how long I would need to wear compression garments, and the doctor explained everything one by one, so I got a general idea of how recovery would go. I liked that they tried to tailor the line well to my body shape.
