Nose Re-Surgery

I had revision surgery on my nasal tip using ear autologous dermis. Will it absorb a lot?

The nasal tip cartilage I had put in before had shifted slightly to the side and was too pointy, so I got an A/S revision. They said my nasal skin is thin, so it would be risky to redo it without dermis, and they raised my nasal tip using autologous dermis from the ear area. But when I looked it up later, people said autologous dermis absorbs and makes the tip blunt When I asked today, they said they used a fairly thick piece of dermis, so even if it absorbs, it won’t absorb 100%, but could that really be true... Since it’s already a revision, I’m so scared of having surgery again. I just had the splint removed, and I am satisfied with the shape... Nose surgery is so hard
