Hello. Last year, at the clinic where I had my first surgery, they used mesh, contrary to what I had understood. When they opened my nose last month for revision surgery, there was inflammation around the mesh area, but they thought it was not severe and proceeded with the surgery. In the end, on day 10 after the revision surgery, I had it removed early at the revision surgery clinic.
At that time, the focus of my post was on the first-surgery clinic. The revision surgery clinic admitted it had made an error in judgment and said it would take responsibility through reconstructive surgery, so I did not disclose it to anyone.
The revision surgery clinic is one of the most famous clinics these days for dramatic-looking noses. It is absolutely not a clinic people wouldn’t know, and it took one year just to get a consultation appointment with the head director. It is a very famous and popular clinic.
These days, one month after my full nasal implant removal surgery, my nasal discharge has been yellow, there has been too much of it, and it has smelled foul, so I contacted the revision surgery clinic. Their answer was that if the cotton is not removed for a long time, waste material can build up and cause that. Their position was that there was no particular need to take any special action, and that if I was very worried, I should come in. The clinic follow-up was scheduled to be checked in January, but this morning the smell from my nose was severe, so I went to a nearby ENT clinic. The answer I got was that cotton had remained inside my nose for a long time, pus had filled up there, and sinusitis had developed. It feels so absurd. Inflammation developed because the cotton inside my nose was not removed properly..? And to someone who already had to undergo removal because of inflammation after revision surgery at their clinic..? This is unbelievably ridiculous.
