When I was young, I had one molar removed because of a cavity, and the remaining teeth next to the empty space ended up leaning over as if they were collapsing. Later, when I consulted about getting an implant, they said I would need partial orthodontic treatment to upright the collapsed tooth and then proceed with the implant. After thinking about it, I decided to get full orthodontic treatment. They said that with full orthodontic treatment, I would have to extract a few healthy teeth anyway, so I wouldn’t need an implant. I do have a bit of a protruding mouth, too. It’s been about a year, but I don’t notice any major changes yet. They said they’ll start retracting the protruding mouth from this month, so if I feel any changes, I’ll post again^^
