First, my nose is a low, short bulbous nose. A very slight hump on the nasal bridge. I don’t want the bridge to be much higher. I’m scared of silicone, so I wanted to avoid using it. I want the bulbous look from the front to improve, and I want the nasal tip to look round but defined and prominent.

Consultation: Consultation manager: The nasal tip is slightly upturned and there is a slight hump. She self-diagnosed that it would be good to refine the line, raise the nasal tip without an implant using septal cartilage or ear cartilage, and correct the bulbous nose. Among all the clinics I’ve visited so far, this was the place where the consultation manager gave opinions like “it would be good to do this and that.” (Personally, I didn’t like it.)

Impression: Kind, but they didn’t explain the surgical method in detail. I don’t recommend it as a first consultation clinic. They’re having a clinic renewal event, and there’s quite a big price difference between applying the event and not applying it.

Consultation: They said my nasal bridge is low and that I have an arrow-shaped nose. Because the skin on my nose is thick, even with bulbous nose correction, it may not come out as much as I want. It could look like I had something done but also not really. If I want it to look clearly done, use silicone. They use septal cartilage, but if it’s insufficient, they may also use ear cartilage. The columella needs to be lowered by about 2 mm. They said my nasolabial angle is currently 90 degrees, and a pretty nose is usually around 100 to 105 degrees.

Impression: The 10,000 won felt wasted. I’ve been to ten clinics so far, and this was the only clinic that said I had an arrow-shaped nose. There were lots of foreigners too, they really glanced over things roughly, and the wait was long. They say they wake you up during surgery to decide the line and operate while talking, but I don’t know how clear-headed I’d actually be, so I’m not sure..

Impression: The consultation manager was really bad. It felt like, “If you’re going to do it, show a proactive attitude.” She didn’t explain first and just stared blankly at me. If I asked one question, she only gave a short answer and that was it. While waiting, there was a mom who came with her high-school daughter. This was the place I had the highest expectations for because they said they’d show a video too, but it was disappointing. The video seemed like something they play just to kill time. I hadn’t even finished watching it, but they just turned it off and the manager came in.
