1.5-Month Review of Revision Surgery for Lateral Canthoplasty Restoration (No Discount Event Conditions)

First, my before-and-after review is long. The reason is that I talk a lot... hahahahahahahaha

This clinic does not offer review discount events, so this is a genuine review written with my own money and my own time.

When I was looking into revision surgery for lateral canthoplasty, it was hard to find reviews, so I tried to write this in as much detail as possible. There are both pros and cons, so please use it as a reference.

●●●Reason for Surgery●●● I had lateral canthoplasty 10 years ago, but it had a ㄷ-shaped appearance, so 1. I wanted to change the shape, 2. make both sides symmetrical as much as possible, 3. and maintain the effect of the lateral canthoplasty.

●●●Reason for Choosing the Clinic●●● Good consultation, reasonable surgery cost, suitable date Review event? None Discount event? None Even so, the reviews were decent? I booked right away!

●●●Pros●●● 1. Trustworthy experience of the director - Even though many doctors perform lateral canthoplasty frequently, it was hard to find a place specializing in “revision lateral canthoplasty.” - The director has a lot of experience with revision surgery, so my trust went up.

2. Good reputation Even though they do not run review events, it was one of the clinics with a good reputation among people interested in lateral canthoplasty.

3. Reasonable price 4. Surgery date & time that fit me 5. Fast KakaoTalk consultation - When you have surgery, a KakaoTalk group chat is created, and the manager and nurses are all in it.

●●●Cons●●● 1. Surgical method that makes an external incision 2. The scar lasts a long time. - In other reviews (not revision surgery, just canthoplasty), some say dissolvable sutures are used and disappear, or that the surgery is done from the inside so the scar is not visible externally, but maybe this surgical method is different, because a scar forms on the outside. - They say time is the medicine, and it has only been a month and a half, so I am still waiting... My right eye turns red if I touch it, but it is fine normally. On the left, a noticeable scar still remains.

●●●Recovery Process After Surgery●●● Sutures were removed on day 9-10 after surgery. Before suture removal, conjunctival edema, bruising, and swelling were severe.

The conjunctival edema gradually improved after suture removal. The bruising lasted surprisingly long and disappeared after a month. For a month, the area around my eyes felt hard and painful when touched.

I rested thoroughly for about 2 weeks, and I think that much recovery time is necessary.

I diligently did everything the clinic told me to do, but what I missed was sleeping on my side.. Sleeping on my side is comfortable and familiar, so without realizing it I ended up sleeping on my side, and every time that happened, I saw my old eyes in the morning. hahahahahahahahahahaha

Absolutely do not fall asleep on your side, and sleep lying straight on your back!!!!!!!!

And as each week passes, the eyes that were lowered a lot at first are gradually settling into a shape more like my original eyes, and the part that was completely pointy is becoming slightly curved like my original eyes, with those kinds of changes too.

Is it because I slept on my side? Still, I am satisfied that the shape has changed. My before eyes were... really... shaking my head... Dr. S, who operated on me like that 10 years ago..ㅡㅡ;

●●●Review of Revision Surgery for Lateral Canthoplasty Restoration●●●

It was hard to find a self-paid review of revision lateral canthoplasty.. When I barely found one, why did they all seem like broker or promotional reviews..

While I was going around for consultations for revision lateral canthoplasty, there were clinics that suggested just opening more with lateral and lower canthoplasty rather than doing revision surgery... Maybe they were not confident in revision surgery..?

Instead of improving the shape, they were telling me to just have surgery one more time.. There were even places where the price was under 1 million won, and it was so hard to find a clinic specializing in revision surgery.

This is not to say the clinic I went to is the best! amazing! recommended! I chose it partly because it matched my conditions too~

However, I did not want “revision surgery” to open it newly again, but “revision surgery” that improves the shape while maintaining the canthoplasty effect, and this clinic matched my needs.

I tried to write as much as possible, but I do not know what else to write. I am old, so even figuring out how to write a post here took me a long time ㅡㅡㅋ

If there is anything I wrote incorrectly, please kindly let me know in the comments. I am thankful~

Everyone, get prettier without stress and without side effects~
