3-Month Review of Ptosis Correction + Upper Epicanthoplasty + Lateral Canthoplasty

Before/after title 3-month review of ptosis correction + upper epicanthoplasty + lateral canthoplasty

My eyelid muscles were originally weak, so I tended to open my eyes with my eyebrows, but after getting forehead Botox, my eyes wouldn't open properly and it seemed to block my vision, so I wanted ptosis correction Since I was going to do it anyway, I decided to do it at a clinic that is good at eyes and started looking around. Friends around me who are influencers or do live-commerce broadcasts had double eyelid surgery at Girin and said they were very satisfied, so they recommended it, and I decided to go with Girin and went for a consultation

At first I was only going to get ptosis correction, but Girin is also so famous for lateral canthoplasty, so I was curious about lateral canthoplasty and asked the consultant She explained it so thoroughly and well that I decided to do lateral canthoplasty too

The doctor doing the lateral canthoplasty and the doctor doing the ptosis correction were different people, so I had two separate consultations

Both doctors consulted with me very meticulously, and on the day of surgery, before the surgery, I had one more detailed consultation before going in, so I went into surgery feeling at ease

The doctors had a lot of surgeries scheduled, so I had to wait two months to coordinate a time with them I decided to wait slowly with excitement, so I had the consultation in June, but had the surgery to match my August vacation dates

I think the surgery took a little longer than expected. Before going in, they said they expected everything to take about three and a half hours, but I went into surgery at 12 and when I came out after it was over, it was around 5 During the ptosis correction surgery, I said it hurt, maybe because the anesthesia wore off a bit in the middle, so they gave me a little more anesthesia The lateral canthoplasty hurt a little with a dull aching feeling But it was all pain I could tolerate

Before the stitches were removed, it was extremely swollen and didn't look great, but after the stitches were removed, it suddenly improved a lot I didn't wear contacts or makeup until two weeks Now I wear contacts too, and except for the redness at the outer corners of my eyes, it's okay After lateral canthoplasty, my eyes do look very droopy There are still scars from the lateral canthoplasty, so I'm waiting for them to heal quickly They said lateral canthoplasty needs to be watched for a long time, about 6 monthsㅠ

The ptosis correction and upper epicanthoplasty really don't show anymore, and I'm very satisfied with the shape
