The consultant was kind, but something felt awkward. I consulted with the doctor in charge of rhinoplasty first, and they explained the basic principles, but because they didn’t make eye contact, my trust dropped a bit. The doctor in charge of eyes seemed very certain and confident, so I felt like it would be okay to have surgery. They also explained exactly why they wouldn’t recommend epicanthoplasty if I had eye surgery, so I trusted them. Overall, it was okay.
