My eyes have no fat, and I have a lot of overlapping creases. Among them, one crease in particular looks like a double eyelid? That is the kind of eyes I have. Typical dull-looking eyes,,, and my parents said my eyes look uneven to them, so I decided to get double eyelid surgery. After reading reviews in a community, I went for consultations at the Gangnam Station clinics I liked most (ㅍㄹㅁㅇ, ㄷㄹ).
<ㅍㄹㅁㅇ - Director ㅈㅇㅈ> Order: consultation manager - paid 10,000 won - director (after waiting 30-40 minutes, consultation for about 10 minutes) - consultation manager explained prices and dates 1. Whether natural adhesion is possible - Not possible with non-incisional. He firmly said I would need incisional surgery. 2. Whether it is ptosis - It is not ptosis, but entropion. Because it is entropion, it would be difficult to improve perfectly with double eyelid surgery alone. 3. Whether uneven-eye correction is also possible - Impossible. Because of facial asymmetry, it is difficult to resolve the appearance of uneven eyes with double eyelid surgery alone. 4. Whether medial canthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, or lower canthoplasty is needed - He recommended medial canthoplasty. 5. Cost - For Director ㅈㅇㅈ, double eyelid surgery alone starts from 2.5 million won. If medial and lateral canthoplasty are added, it starts from 3 million won. Ultimately, it was set as “incisional eye-shape correction + medial canthoplasty + eyelid fat correction” (3 million won). VAT is separate. (No separate discount, but VAT is reduced if reserving on the same day) 6. Thoughts after the consultation: I actually felt that rhinoplasty would likely have a more dramatic result than eye surgery. I felt comfortable because he clearly told me what seemed unlikely to work. However, what I did not understand was that during the director’s consultation, I was only recommended up to “incisional eye-shape correction + medial canthoplasty,” but when the manager explained the final plan, “eyelid fat correction” had been added. It was the same for the nose. During the consultation, I thought only “silicone + donated costal cartilage + osteotomy” had been discussed, but when the manager explained the final plan, “hump nose and bulbous nose correction” were included. (Of course, during the consultation, the director did mention something like, “You have a hump.” But my hump was not really a complex for me,,, so I wondered why it had been added. I asked the director whether my nose was bulbous,,, and at that time he said no,,, but then suddenly the manager also mentioned bulbous nose correction, so I was flustered.) If I were to get plastic surgery here, I felt I would need to receive the consultation properly again. Maybe because everything moved along busily, but I really felt there had been a communication error.

Whether medial canthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, or lower canthoplasty is needed - With medial canthoplasty, the epicanthal folds would improve and the overall impression seems likely to improve. 5. The lines recommended by both places were thin double eyelid lines below my existing crease. But ㅍㄹㅁㅇ recommended incisional surgery, while ㄷㄹ recommended non-incisional surgery. The consultation with the director at ㄷㄹ was the kindest, and I could see that rather than trying to copy someone else’s eyes, he was trying to find the eyes that would suit my face best. For entropion correction, he recommended incisional surgery, but for perfect improvement, he recommended an ophthalmologic procedure. Since I originally wanted non-incisional surgery if natural adhesion was possible, we ended the consultation in that direction.
When I told my parents that improving the uneven-eye look would probably be impossible, they said let’s just live like this(?), so I don’t know what will happen,,, I plan to visit clinics around Sinsa Station until the 7th as well, but until then, I most want to get double eyelid surgery at ㄷㄹ.
