I had eye + nose surgery in high school, but my eyes became undone, so I had revision surgery with an incisional method about 7 years ago, and this February I had revision nose surgery using autologous costal cartilage. But my eye line was distorted and my eyes were uneven, and my nose was too long with a drooping nasal tip, so this time I thought, “This really has to be my last surgery,” and decided I should redo both my eyes + nose together. I had consultations at several clinics, but compared with any other clinic, the manager and doctors here were so detailed and kind during the consultation. (Other clinics seem to think waiting is a given, but here, when the wait got longer, they apologized several times.) So I decided to have surgery and got it done well with a nervous heart. I had my eyes done first, and the doctor reassured me so sweetly throughout, so I was able to get through the surgery without being nervous. For my nose, I closed and opened my eyes and it was already over lol. What I wanted most for my eyes was correction of the distorted line and uneven eyes, and like magic, the line became smooth. Because of swelling, I’ll need to watch the unevenness a bit more, but I think the line came out well to match both eyes. For my nose, amazingly, the length really got shorter and the nasal tip went up, so I was impressed. Every time I go for follow-up checks, the doctors personally examine me and take care of me, so I’m receiving treatment comfortably and just waiting for the swelling to go down.
