I went to consultations at a total of 7 places. But in conclusion, there wasn't anywhere that appealed to me 100%, and around 80% was the best.
I mainly went to places said to be good at revision rhinoplasty. Since my nose is short and upturned, with a high level of surgical difficulty, I wasn't satisfied with just one or two places and there wasn't anywhere I felt set on. So I set aside two days and went around to clinics.
After visiting several places, I really felt that this is why going around for consultations is important. At one place, even though it had been over 15 years since my first nose surgery, they saw that it was a bit upturned and said that if they opened it up, there would 100% be signs of contracture and inflammation, and recommended removing it first and then doing the surgery 6 months later. Their intention to be cautious and eliminate potential problems was good, but realistically it was too much hassle, and they were the only one out of 7 places to say that, so I found it quite strange. The price was also about 1.5 times higher than average, so I ruled them out.
Another memorable place was fairly famous as a nose-specialized clinic, but the doctor answered very bluntly about what was possible and what wasn't, so I was disappointed because I didn't hear the answer I wanted and I wasn't satisfied. They seemed to have their own strong opinions or principles, and had a chic, detached vibe, so other people may like it because it looks natural and it seems like many people get surgery there, but communication with me felt lacking. It made me realize once again that having good communication with the doctor is the most important thing. From shocking price quotes to material choices, every place had many differences, so it's still not easy to choose one placeㅠ
