1.ㅋㅋ A hospital famous for the doll-like line There was about a 5-minute wait, and there weren’t that many people At first, the consultant talked with me first and told me to choose between a doll-like line and a natural line I was recommended 3 procedures, and when I consulted with the director, the consultant? or a staff member was there with us The director explained that this was how the surgery would be done At first the consultation was too short and there were a lot of things I couldn’t ask properly, so I went for a second consultation When I went for the second consultation, there were quite a few people and people having surgery, so there was about a 20-minute wait When I asked if liposuction couldn’t be done later, they said my face itself has bigger bones than other people and especially has a lot of fatㅠㅠ so I’d see much more effect if I definitely did liposuction together At first, when I had the consultation for the front chin, we had decided to shorten the length and make it feel slightly more youthful, but since I don’t think my chin length looks long, they said they would change the surgical method and do it as a long curved jawline reduction instead They tried to tailor it to the style the patient wants!!
2.ㄴㅌ The hospital was bigger and more spacious than I expected. The interior was pretty! It had full glass windows, so when I went up to the 15th floor, I could see all of downtown Seoulㅋㅋ At first, I think they took the CT about 3 times, rotating my face front and side and so on After the CT, the director was in surgery, so I waited a bit. While waiting, the view was pretty, so I looked around belowㅋㅋ As soon as the director came, they took a photo of my face with a tablet They asked what I was most dissatisfied with and wanted to improve, so I said that from the front my face looks wide overall and has a lot of empty space, and that I wanted to reduce it as much as possible. Then they explained while looking at the CT They said my cheekbones were obviously really large, and suggested cutting the bone and pushing them in as much as possible They said the front chin could be reduced with a T-osteotomy, but it seemed unnecessary to go that far, and suggested a pinless V-line continuing to the square jaw. They said there was no need to reduce it too much. They said the nerve line is on the appropriate side, but that doesn’t mean there is a lot of room eitherㅋ Overall, first of all, they said my face has a lot of fatㅋㅋㅋ and that I would need a lot of liposuctionㅋㅋ So I felt, ah, my face really does have a lot of fatㅠㅠ And when I asked whether thick flesh would sag more, they told me there would be almost no sagging and that people with thick skin have an advantage in this regard They asked if I had a photo, so I cautiously showed a photo of Karinaㅋㅋㅋ They said it wouldn’t turn out exactly the same, but they would do as much as possible within safe limits The director’s style itself seemed to really pursue naturalness + safety Their personality seemed very meticulousㅋㅋㅋ
3. ㄷㅇㅇ The whole building is a plastic surgery clinicㅋㅋ It goes from the 1st to the 12th floor As soon as I went in, the chairs were interesting. But it looked big from the outside, and once I went in, it didn’t actually feel that big? Turns out only the waiting area was small, and the area inside was spaciousㅋㅋ It’s kind of like a mazeㅋㅋ There were many consultation rooms, and since it’s a large clinic, the system was very well organized, which I likedㅋㅋ As soon as I arrived, the staff were very kindㅋㅋ But I’m not sure if it was an air freshener or a diffuser, but the scent was so strong that my head hurt a bit throughout the clinicㅠㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, I consulted with the consultant first, and she carefully and slowly explained everything I was curious about. She said she also had facial contouring done here and showed me before-and-after photos, and the consultant’s face shape was prettyㅎㅎ Overall, she said that for a face like mine that is wide horizontally from the front, the face size itself won’t get smallerㅜ She also said not to expect a dramatic major effect from the cheekbones. I liked that she wasn’t pushing this and that, but speaking honestly! She said facial contouring is truly very effective for people with small head shapes whose cheekbones and square jaw protrude a lot outwardlyㅠ I consulted with Director Lee Dong-chan. Seeing him in personㅋㅋ his face is much smaller than on YouTube and he’s handsome! He explained things I didn’t know and the surgical methods in a way that was easy to understand. He said I could definitely see a lot of effect and recommended 3 procedures (cheekbones, square jaw, chin tip) For the chin tip, he said to reduce only the central width with a T-osteotomy and leave the length as is, because that way I’d get more of a V-line effectㅋㅋ And he also caught and told me about the slight asymmetry in my chinㅋㅋ He didn’t recommend buccal/cheek liposuction right away and said to check later, but said there is a lot of fat... even hereㅋㅋ while smiling, he said I guess you will need to do itㅋㅋ He said my facial bones are thick too, and that people with thick bones are good candidates for surgery and heal with good bone union during recovery, so this was the first time I learned that... It was good + fascinating!
After going to consultations, I do think the more places you visit, the better. If different consultations say the same things, you can clearly understand what the issue is with your faceㅋㅋ But the surgical method for the chin tip differs a bit by clinic, so I’m thinking about it a lot..
