In October, I went around to 6 places that do behind-the-ear square jaw surgery (consultation order: ㅇㅇ, ㄷㅋㄹㅅ, ㅋㅋ, ㅂㅇ, ㅂㅌ, ㅂㄷ)
Mine was a first-time consultation for just square jaw surgery, and I made my surgery reservation at ㅂㄷ
1. ㅂㄷ ㆍOut of the 6 places, the consultation with the director was the best ㆍThey recommended the behind-the-ear incision surgery I wanted (because they said if I wanted to leave a little of the mandibular angle below the ear, a behind-the-ear incision could leave it more precisely) ㆍThey didn’t push anything else and emphasized thinking about what design I want. ㆍIf requested in advance, you can watch the CCTV ㆍFor aftercare, they take a follow-up CT and do swelling laser?? things like that ㆍThe reviews I found online were okay too, and the director has at least 10+ years of experience with behind-the-ear square jaw surgery ※But the price was the most expensive... So I’m debating whether to do the review eventㅠㅠ They say it gets 500,000 won cheaper, what should I do...?
ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ Now I’ll write reviews of the other places and why I didn’t choose them
2. ㅇㅇ ㆍThe in-person consultation was fine. I could feel that the consultant was trying to give me even one more piece of information ㆍBut when I asked about aftercare and swelling care, they said they would do it if I wanted, but that there would be so little swelling I wouldn’t feel the need to receive it, which was a slight minusㅜ I like places that do aftercare thoroughly
3. ㄷㅋㄹㅅ ㆍThere seemed to be 3 directors, but the director in charge of facial contouring didn’t seem to be a board-certified plastic surgeon... They didn’t come up in the Plastic Surgery Korea specialist search. ㆍThey didn’t take a CT before the consultation, so I asked whether they take one right before surgery, but they said they don’t take one then either ㅇㅅㅇ They said they would only know after opening it up anyway... Since it’s bone surgery, I wondered if that was okay ㆍThey don’t do muscle resection
Numbers 4 to 6 are in part 2
