First, I only had a consultation for my eyes at one place, and the focus was my nose, so I’ll only talk about the nose! Sinsa Station: ㅇㅌ, ㅈㅇㅌ Gangnam Station: ㄷㅇㅇ I went to these three places!
I went to all of them on weekdays around daytime to evening, and there wasn’t much waiting time.
1. ㅇㅌ When I went, there were two people waiting including me, and the consultation with the consultant started almost as soon as I arrived. I think I waited about 20 minutes? for the doctor’s consultation. Since there seemed to be a lot of things going into my nose surgery, I thought it would go way over the event price, but they said there were no additional parts added to the event price. (Condition was that I had to place the deposit that day.) During the consultation with the consultant, I really started leaning toward this place. Being kind is basic, but they reassured me and empathized with me? Since they talked about those things, I thought it was worth putting down a deposit. The doctor’s consultation was just average? There was no CT scan, and it wasn’t very detailed. They told me which parts needed to be worked on, but honestly I didn’t know much, so I couldn’t understand a lot! It also went by really quickly....? Price was the most important thing to meㅜㅜ Anyway, because it was the event price, I paid the deposit and left! (Now I’ve also scheduled the surgery date.)
2. ㅈㅇㅌ It was in the same building as ㅇㅌ. As soon as I arrived, I had the consultant and doctor consultations. I think the waiting time + CT scan + consultation all together took less than 20 minutes. They were also very kind, and the director was a woman. After taking the CT scan, she was very detailed and didn’t seem to over-treat. But they quoted the price as if the event price had never been a consideration from the start, and it was a price I hadn’t expected at all, so I couldn’t do it. But if I had enough money, I think I would’ve done it here. It felt the most systematic.
3. ㄷㅇㅇ Personally, even before going, this was the place that made me decide I should get surgery, and it was the place I was most looking forward to, but it disappointed me the most. Still, since it was after 6 o’clock, there were a lot of people, but they assigned me pretty quickly. Maybe it was because I hadn’t specified a consultant or doctor? I didn’t feel like the waiting time itself was that long. Compared to how many people there were, it was short. (Pure waiting time was under 20-30 minutes.) The consultant was a man, and since he was kind, my first impression wasn’t bad, but it felt like he was only kind on the surface...? I felt like he was subtly looking down on me. If the problem was that I went without researching enough, then I guess it can’t be helped ㅠ For the doctor, I said anyone was fine, and they said they’d introduce someone who does the straight-to-curved nose line, so I said okay. But as soon as the doctor came in and sat down, he was shaking his leg and leaning back in his posture, and anyone could tell it was a consultation where he was doing it roughly and seemed annoyed, so I felt really uncomfortable. After finishing the doctor’s consultation in an unpleasant state, the consultant came in and talked to me. Of course, the event price was completely out of consideration, and he kept asking where else I had gone. So I just mentioned ㅈㅇㅌ, and he asked how much they quoted, so I said 3.5 million won? (Not the actual price, I just said it.) But after hearing that, he pretended to think about it and then said he’d match it at 3.4 million won. Hearing that made the trust I already didn’t have completely hit rock bottom. Instead, he said it was under the condition that I book today, so I tried acting pitiful like, “Ah, today is difficult, but the money will really come in next week ㅠㅠ” (I had no intention of having surgery here, but I tested it once.) He pretended to think again and then said, “Then please make sure to contact us,” and that he’d only honor it next week. It was kind of funny.
Everything I wrote is exactly what I experienced.
I didn’t know if I could write the prices, so I didn’t, but the order was ㅇㅌ < ㄷㅇㅇ < ㅈㅇㅌ. ㅈㅇㅌ was almost 3 times the price of ㅇㅌ. The place I decided to have surgery at is ㅇㅌ, so I don’t remember the exact price for ㅈㅇㅌ, but I remember roughly.
All three said similar things about the direction needed for rhinoplasty.
