Visited while considering 2 types of contouring + a nose surgery without an implant I consulted in the order of coordinator > doctor > coordinator at all of them, and all the clinics were around Nonhyeon and Gangnam For hospitals 1, 2, and 3, I had already had consultations last week, so I only wrote down the parts I clearly remember, so there isn’t much content.. Anyway, this is an extremely personal review, so please use it only as a reference ^ㅠ^
1. Dr. J of C (Ku) Contour: cheekbone + long curve + cortical shaving, nose: nasal tip with ear cartilage / surgery time: about 4 to 5 hours / post-op care: swelling treatment 3 times / price: in the 8.8 million KRW range (event price) Write reviews once a month for 7 months on 2 apps / consultation fee: 10,000 KRW / no strong push to book; most clinics send you off casually, but KakaoTalk messages keep coming..
What I liked was that they would take a CT scan right after surgery and show it to me, and the clinic was small but fairly neat The doctor carefully checked the CT while explaining where they would perform the osteotomy and how they would design it For the nose, they recommended silicone, but when I said I didn’t want silicone, they said it would still improve if only the nasal tip were raised with ear cartilage The coordinator strongly emphasized that the doctor does only two surgeries a day and carefully checks everything even after surgeryㅋㅋㅋ Patient waiting room for guardians available O, CCTV viewing available O Overall I liked it, but... since they recommended silicone, I was unsure whether I could get a pretty nose without silicone, so I put this on holdㅜㅜ
2. Dr. Y of A (E) Contour: chin tip + cortical shaving + cheekbone + square jaw, nose: lateral osteotomy + bulbous nose correction + donated rib cartilage + septum / surgery time 4 to 5 hours / post-op care: swelling treatment 3 times Price: in the 12 million KRW range (event + discounted price) / write reviews on 2 apps 3 times (no time limit, whenever the clinic contacts you?) / consultation fee: none No push to book; they said to think about it slowly and contact them within about 5 days for an extra discount
The clinic was large and clean, and there were a lot of people, so I had high expectations But I gave up because using donated rib cartilage for my first surgery felt too burdensomeㅋㅋㅋ ㅠㅠ What was unusual was that they said CCTV could not be provided, but there was a filming service for an extra 200,000 KRW ...? Guardians were not allowed into the inpatient room.. The doctor and coordinator were both kind, but it just felt like it didn’t suit me, so I passed The CT equipment seemed better than at other clinics, which was interesting
3. Dr. B of I (A) Contour: cheekbone + long curve / nose: septum, ear cartilage + osteotomy + bulbous nose correction / surgery time 4 to 5 hours / post-op care: swelling treatment 3 times / price: in the 9 million KRW range (event + discounted price) Write reviews every 1, 3, and 6 months / consultation fee: none / moderate push to book; if you reserve by the afternoon of the same day, they said they would give an additional discount
The clinic was large, there were a lot of patients, and I liked that the patients seemed relatively young. It felt like they would easily catch the image I wantㅋㅋㅋ They said CCTV could not be checked, and I vaguely remember them saying guardians were not allowed in the inpatient room.. The doctor seemed very tired and had a style of speaking that people would either like or dislike. When asked about commonly discussed side effects, he would say something like, why are you asking me about an operation that doctor’s poor skill caused...?ㅋㅋㅋ It felt a bit like, as a non-expert, there is a limit to how much you can study, so listen to the expert’s words... As the consultation went on, I did get more tempted, thinking maybe he is saying this because his skills are really good He said there was no need to prepare lots of questions, and no need to visit many clinics, and that if I just chose the place that really appealed to me, I’d probably get good results..? I almost put down a deposit after getting carried away by his odd(?) way of speaking, but I held back because I worried he might also do the surgery in a half-hearted way ㅠㅠ

Up to this point, the cheekbone surgeries seemed more or less similar, but the noses were all different, so I got confused ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I was thinking about going to Clinic C, which uses only ear cartilage, but I decided to look around a few more places because the effect might be less than I expected!

The clinic was spacious and comfortable. The staff were generally kind, but it felt like they didn’t communicate well with each other.. They said my name was called several times while I was waiting for the consultation -_- Maybe because it was a morning consultation, but the contouring doctor was energetic He actively explained the surgical methods and also approached it from various non-surgical angles to improve things in the direction I wanted At other clinics, no one explained what my face would look like if only the cheekbones were addressed, but the doctor here told me first, which helped me learn something new The nose doctor seemed a bit tired, but he explained only the necessary points clearly and quickly Because of the nasolabial angle, he said we should lower the nose a bit to correct it, which was an unexpected surgery and threw me off At the previous clinics they all said they would raise the nasal tip, though the materials were different, so suddenly lower it..? Anyway, for contouring they said they would take a CT scan one week after surgery and again one month later They also show CCTV, but they said they record it separately and show it later. Guardians are not allowed in the inpatient room X
The coordinator kept repeating that there were very few available surgery dates, so I should put down a deposit first and if I ended up not having surgery, it would be fully refunded, so it would be good to just secure the slot first There weren’t any real downsides, so I paid the deposit. Normally the deposit is 10%, but since the amount was large, they adjusted it appropriately They also discounted the final price for various reasons, but it was still much more expensive than the app price

I have two more consultations on Monday and plan to decide after finishing those! So far I like them in this order: 4 > 1 > 3 > 2 I’m also considering going back for a second consultation at number 1../..

I looked around the website, and the before-and-after photos matched my taste, so this was one of the clinics I had high expectations for Because the interior was dark, it felt calmer than the other clinics Both doctors put a lot of effort into the consultation, and the contouring doctor thought together with me about whether the square jaw could be improved by non-surgical methods They also explained the surgery methods carefully, and when I asked about anything, they explained from A to Z The nose doctor said my nose would be difficult to operate on without silicone, and that silicone would be needed to improve the overall imageㅠ Like Clinic N, they said the nose needed to be lowered, so I gained trust in both places Guardians could wait, and if a scar formed, they said I could use the scar laser without limit, which I liked
This clinic also tended to push for a deposit, and when I said I had only one more clinic to look at that day and asked whether I could contact them right after, they said then let’s do a blood test as a kind of deposit. The deposit was 200,000 KRW, and if you canceled, only 100,000 KRW would be refunded after deducting the 100,000 KRW blood test fee They also said the blood test results could be used at other clinics, so it wasn’t a bad condition, and I didn’t dislike the clinic either, so I put down the deposit
((In the end, I decided not to proceed here, so I asked on the same day for a refund of 100,000 KRW, but after the call they said they would guide me through KakaoTalk and then never contacted meㅋㅋ I messaged first, and they said the office was closed and they would contact me the next day. The following day there was still no contact, so I reached out again and they said to wait because they would contact me through the coordinator No contact so far ))
And I originally planned to go to one more clinic, but they contacted me saying that because of surgery time, could I move the consultation to another date? ㅋ.ㅋ.... So I canceled and ended up with some extra time
6. Dr. J of C (Ku) Second consultation
Compared with the other clinics, the surgical materials were simple, and because it was a private clinic I kept being drawn to it, so I contacted them to ask whether a same-day second consultation was possible Since I wanted to go during my spare time, if same-day consultation wasn’t possible, I was planning to choose between numbers 4 and 5. But luckily(?) the clinic said same-day consultation was possible, so I went And I thought I would only meet the coordinator, but they let me meet the doctor too I asked about questions that came up while touring other clinics, plus additional questions about shape and non-surgical methods Because I don’t have a lot of fat, he said lifting or liposuction wouldn’t be effective and that improvement would only be possible through surgery ㅠㅠㅋㅋ He also said the nose is not meant to be made into a snub nose like I was imagining Since I had come for a second consultation and there were no more clinics left to visit, I started deciding among three places The contouring options were all similar, so I didn’t have much to 고민 about, but the noses were all different, so I was torn because of the nose
Even after visiting other clinics, I kept thinking about this place + simple materials + long-established clinic + long career of the doctor + reasonable surgery cost + a good surgery date For several reasons, I decided to go with this clinic Honestly, at the other clinics they were saying to use tons of materials, so I do wonder whether I can really get the look I want with just a piece of ear cartilageㅋㅋ
Clinic C said cancellations are non-refundable, and that the blood test from another clinic could not be used ㅠ... So I got a new blood test done and ended my clinic visits!
If I get the chance, I’ll bring a contouring review after the surgery too^ㅠ^
