I said I would get cosmetic surgery for my mother, so from September to October, for about a month, I went around to consultations with her, and she had surgery in November. Because the fat was harvested from her thigh, on the first day blood kept coming out when she was sitting, but she said it didn't hurt. Meals differ from person to person, but on the first day she only ate porridge or scorched-rice soup, and from the next day she could eat rice with regular side dishes.

She got dressing on day 5 after surgery, and the stitches were removed in the second week. There was also a separately prescribed medication, and she would apply it, wait until it dried, then put the compression bandage back on, twice a day. They said she didn't have to wear the compression bandage while sleeping, so I think she slept a bit more comfortably. When I saw her applying the medicine, except for the first few days, the swelling wasn't that severe, and after taking off the bandage, she freely went to cafes near the house or met neighborhood friends and did everything.

It's been almost a month now, and the scar has faded so much that unless you look closely and say, "this is the spot," you can barely see it. My mother says she is so glad she did it and that I at least chose the hospital well, and even to me she looks about 10 years younger. People around her keep asking where she had it done, so she was proudly saying that one of her acquaintances is going for a consultation this time lol At first, when I said I would get it done for her, she said, "What cosmetic surgery at my age?" but these days when I go home, she's always looking in the mirror and keeps making plans to go out lol
