Last year, I had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty together, and it’s almost been 1 year now. Since it was natural adhesion and the double eyelid height wasn’t very high, my eyes didn’t swell much. When I look down and check, the thickness? of the double eyelid is pretty visible. But when I open my eyes normally, the double eyelid line is only visible toward the outer ends. Honestly, I didn’t know eye surgery could make such a big difference, and people’s reactions before and after surgery felt very different too. It might also be because I did my nose at the same time? Anyway, my image changed a lot, my confidence went up a bit, and I started liking taking photos more.
I didn’t really do anything special for aftercare, but the swelling went down well, and everything settled nicely, so I have no issues at all in daily life now. When I was choosing a clinic, people around me helped a lot too, so I recommend getting help from people around you or researching as much as possible.
