Situation - My teeth were overlapping and in bad condition, and I was feeling that they were gradually becoming more misaligned - I had 2 lower teeth extracted and am undergoing orthodontic treatment (currently 10 months in)
Pros (may be my personal opinion) - I can finally stop thinking that I need to get orthodontic treatment... - Once the overlapping teeth straightened out, brushing feels much cleaner and more refreshing - It seems like they are moving quickly (?)
Cons - I lost cheek fat and my lower face became slimmer, so I look older - People I haven't seen in a while tell me that my face looks different - If you can't give up coffee... staining inevitably happens - You have to accept gum triangles that may be relatively worse than for people in their 10s to 30s
After about 18 months, I'll try posting before/after photos too I don't have a protruding mouth, and both my upper and lower jaws are small, so I thought there wouldn't be as much facial-shape change from orthodontics as expected
But I lost so much cheek fat that I'm worried and concerned
