I had my nose implant removed this morning.. It was at 10 a.m. today. I arrived at the hospital, changed clothes, washed my face, briefly listened to the director’s explanation, talked once more about the surgical method, and I think the surgery started around 10:30!
The surgical method was open surgery to remove the silicone implant from the nasal bridge and the capsule.... But once they opened it, there was also an abnormal capsule? granuloma? so they said they removed that tooㅠㅠㅠㅠ They said it can happen if dermis was inserted during the first surgery or if you had filler, but I never had anything like dermis or fillerㅠ Anyway, because of this, the surgery took longer and I bruised a lot. The removal went well, but I was told that if inflammation happens, contracture could occur laterㅠ.. When I first heard that, I felt really unsettled, but I’m trying to think positively that nothing will happen!
As for surgical pain, I had sedation anesthesia so there was no pain during surgery, but after the surgery my throat was so dry that it hurt, and inside my nose it was just kind of stinging/tingly?
Oh, and during my first surgery they shaved down my hump, so after surgery I asked if the hump was still there, and they said it wasn’t.
