This time, I had natural-adhesion eyelid correction and entropion surgery together at [Clinic A]. I had been deliberating over my eyes for a while, and rather than just getting double-eyelid surgery, I wanted to improve the area under my eyes and the entropion as well. After looking into various options, I had a consultation and decided to go ahead.
My eyelashes were poking my eyes and really lowering my quality of life, so I kept asking about the entropion. The doctor had extensive experience with eye surgery and explained things well, so I felt it would be okay and decided on surgery.
Even so, I was worried at first because there was more swelling than I expected for a few days after surgery. Maybe because it was around the eyes, it looked worse, and I worried about what I would do if the crease looked strange. But I think time is the answer haha. Now most of the swelling has gone down, and the crease has settled naturally.
I’m happiest that the entropion has been corrected well. My eyes feel much more comfortable than before, so functionally it’s very convenient too. This had always bothered me, and since it was corrected together with lower blepharoplasty, the area under my eyes feels more organized as well~ The double eyelid doesn’t look overly obvious either, so people seeing me for the first time usually don’t realize I had surgery. I actually prefer that.
Considering the doctor’s experience, I also felt the price was reasonable compared with what I expected. I was unnecessarily more worried before surgery because the entropion was being treated at the same time, but overall I’m relieved that the surgery seems to have gone well.
