I went for a consultation, and they explained things in more detail than I expected, so the consultation itself was satisfactory. They recommended releasing the existing adhesions on both sides and lowering the crease through an incision. They said the plan was to lower the left side only slightly and the right side more, to correct the asymmetry as much as possible. The plan also included incisional ptosis correction and fat repositioning on both sides. They said removing the second line was possible, but if I was concerned about scarring, it could be tidied up with an incision later; alternatively, since I was having surgery anyway, it could be done by incision from the beginning. They said the incision method could create a cleaner crease. This was the first place I consulted that said removing the second line was not absolutely necessary and that an incision was also possible, so I was a little surprised. The cost is 5.5 million won, which is financially burdensome, but the consultation was reasonably convincing. When I searched for reviews, I did not see many that were unusually bad, which makes me hesitate even more. However, there were many blog or private reviews, so it was somewhat difficult to judge based on reviews alone.
