I had double-eyelid surgery at [Clinic A] three years ago. I originally had monolids, but using double-eyelid glue and tape created a line and I developed a double eyelid. However, since I had forced it into existence, the lines were different on both sides, and because I swell easily, it was stressful when the line seemed to disappear the morning after. I had the surgery right after finishing the college entrance exam. Since I naturally swell a lot, it took about six months for all the swelling to go down. At three to four months, it looked too obvious and I worried that I had ruined it, but after some more time it settled and became natural.
