It has been about 3 weeks since I had double-chin liposuction haha At first, when I looked in the mirror from the front, I just thought I had a bit of facial fat. But in photos my friends took, my profile looked like the area under my chin kept rounding down, and even when I tilted my head just a little, the fold was more noticeable than I expected, so it bothered me So I thought losing a bit of weight would help, and I tried to slim down a little, but while my cheeks and face overall seemed to lose volume, the area under my chin stayed the same. In the end I looked up reviews and prices for facial liposuction in the Gangnam area and came in mainly for the double chin. Before getting it done I was a bit nervous because it was on my face, but once it was over it felt like it went by much faster than I expected haha But honestly, the days after were more on my mind. At first there was swelling and a little bruising, so every time I looked in the mirror I wondered when it would go down haha The jawline did not become perfectly visible right away, and in the early stage the area under my chin looked a bit puffy, so I kept looking up before-and-after photos for no reason. Up to week 1, I did not see a big difference, but around 2 weeks later it started to look a little less swollen. You do not really notice it when you look every day, but compared with old profile photos, the rounded line under my chin was clearly less noticeable. Now it is week 3, and I do not think the swelling is completely gone yet, and my morning and evening looks are still a bit different haha Still, I have cut down a lot on the need to raise my chin and search for angles when taking photos like before. What I wanted was not a dramatic change to my whole face, but for the area under my chin in profile to look less heavy, so so far I am satisfied. When I looked into prices, I saw that they vary quite a bit depending on whether they only treat the double chin or also include the jawline and cheek area. Downtime also seemed different in each review, but my bruising faded faster than expected, while the swelling stayed on my mind longer. It is still only week 3, so it feels too early to say exactly what the final result will be, and I heard the swelling goes down more around week 4, so I am just watching it until the one-month mark haha At first I wanted it to change quickly too, but after actually doing it, it feels less like an overnight transformation and more like waiting for things to gradually settle. Around one month, I plan to take photos again from the same angle as before and compare the before-and-after difference too haha
