My mother never had sleepy-looking eyes, but as she aged, her double-eyelid line gradually began to droop. I spent a lot of time deliberating over whether having surgery later in life might be burdensome. We visited several places in person, compared prices, and had multiple consultations with surgeons and coordinators. Then we had a consultation near Nonhyeon Station, and this place felt different. The surgeon explained everything very kindly, and the coordinator carefully answered all our questions in detail, which made us trust them. Our biggest concerns were, “What if it looks obvious that she had surgery?” and “What if the change is too burdensome because of her age?” We liked that a subbrow lift could naturally improve the drooping eye area without separate double-eyelid surgery. Recovery was less burdensome to daily life than expected, and most importantly, the result was very natural and satisfying. It was the place that made me feel our thorough search had been worthwhile. After surgery, my mother’s eyes became much more defined, but rather than changing her impression dramatically, they looked naturally tidied up—like her original eyes—which I liked even more. I had been very worried because of her age, but in the end I feel we made the right decision. If you want to improve drooping eyes naturally, it may be worth having a consultation.
