When you arrive, they take a CT scan, have you wait, take standardized facial photos, have you wait again, then you speak with the consultation manager first before being connected with a doctor.
It was genuinely my first-ever nose consultation, so I went in without knowing anything. When they asked whether I had a doctor in mind and I said no, they said they would connect me with someone who could examine me well, and I had the consultation.
The manager did not feel especially kind. They briefly explained things in a matter-of-fact way, such as what should be done and which type of nose would suit my face.
The doctor was extremely kind. While showing me the photos they took, the doctor explained what method would be used, asked about the inside of my nose and any functional problems, and made the consultation comfortable. They mentioned a celebrity I resemble and explained what was cute about those features and how my nose could be improved. They also explained in detail how the concerns I had could be addressed and what should be done given my nasal condition.
Still, since this is my first surgery and I want to visit more consultations, I do not think this is currently a hospital I am particularly excited about.
