I had my first nose surgery about 2 years ago, but I don’t think they properly understood what I wanted back then. The director was so confident at the time, and kept telling me it was swelling, but apparently that wasn’t it. What I wanted was a slimmer, more delicate-looking bridge and nasal alar area, but they kept saying it was just swelling, and in the end it settled looking thick like that..
So this time, when I was looking into it, a really slim-looking nose was my top priority. Since it was revision surgery, I was already considering rib cartilage anyway, so even when rib cartilage came up during the consultation, it didn’t really bother me. After the revision, once the shape was changed again, the bridge definitely became slimmer and the nasal tip looks pretty too.. People around me reacted differently as well. (During my first surgery, a lot of people reacted like, “What changed?” so I was kind of annoyed..) These days, things are good. I feel more confident even with no makeup, and I go out bare-faced a lot lol. I want to burn my old before photos.
