I had it done when he was at ITEM, and it was a revision surgery at ITEM after having surgery at another hospital. My nasal bridge was low, and I had a bulbous nose. The nose shape... honestly, it came out so pretty that I wondered, could anyone make my nose prettier than this? But right after the surgery, I developed nasal congestion, and it still hasn’t been resolved. A few years later, my columella collapsed.. Also, the aftercare was really, really, really poor.. I don’t think I ever had a consultation with the director for more than 5 minutes after the surgery? On top of that, I recently developed nasal contracture. The contracture was due to silicone inflammation, so that part isn’t exactly the hospital’s fault, but the problem is that I’m debating whether I should have the revision surgery here or not.. The nose shape really is pretty, but the aftercare is like that, and the consultations are so, so short.. Since it’s contracture, I also need to consider functionality to some extent, but even if I get the revision here and the shape turns out pretty, I have this feeling that the nasal functions won’t actually work properly..?
