I joined to get information about fillers, but they said I had to write a post to level up,
so while I’m at it, I’m posting a LASEK review.
I had it done at JYS, but when I looked it up now, the doctor who did mine is no longer there, so I’m posting it privately for now..
My eyesight was already bad, and I also had severe astigmatism, around -11. But thankfully my cornea was slightly thicker than average, so LASEK was possible.
LASIK was obviously not possible..
At the time, I remember Amaris Red? was a hot machine that hadn’t been out for long, and I had LASEK with that.
The surgery went well, and I know I shouldn’t, but I really use my eyes roughly... Because of my job, I’m on the computer every day and look at my phone while lying down..
Still, my vision is preserved well so far.
As a side effect, I got dry eye syndrome, but honestly there doesn’t seem to be a way to fix that.
Even if I got dry eye syndrome, if I could go back, I’d do LASEK again.
It’s just a different world.
