Liposuction Reviews

Even after losing weight, my double chin wouldn’t go away, so I ended up having double-chin liposuction + platysma muscle tightening surgery T_T

The rest of my body loses weight when I diet, but strangely, the fat under my chin really never went away T_T It stressed me out that the area under my chin folded even when I turned my head slightly. After entering my 20s, I tried dieting hard and even had laser lifting, but I couldn’t feel much difference in my double chin... So this time I decided to properly look into it and consulted Dr. Kwon Joo-yong at ID Plastic Surgery. During the consultation, I learned that it wasn’t just a problem of submental fat; the inner muscles also needed to be considered. So I had double-chin liposuction together with double-chin muscle tightening. Looking at the before-and-after photos, I like the difference in my side profile more than the front lol. Before, the boundary between my chin and neck was unclear, and it bothered me that the area under my chin looked folded whenever I turned my head even slightly. Now my jawline looks much more defined, so I’m satisfied. At first I had swelling and bruising, but after they settled and my jawline began to show, I felt like I understood why this area hadn’t disappeared even with dieting haha. The difference is especially noticeable in side-view photos. Before, I would unnecessarily tuck my chin and worry about the angle, but these days I’m happy that the area under my chin doesn’t bother me like it used to haha. For people like me who are thin but somehow still have only a double chin, or who are stressed by fat under the chin even after dieting, I think it would be good to get a consultation instead of assuming it’s simply a weight problem!
