I had stage 2 surgery for a double chin and also had my digastric muscles corrected. I learned that because my salivary glands were naturally well developed, chin liposuction alone would not be enough. I heard that double-chin surgery also reduces the salivary glands, so I went through with the surgery without much deliberation. The doctor has a gentle, soft-spoken style and explains things very well. They kept checking in between explanations to ask whether I understood... Even on the day of surgery, they told me not to worry and that they would take good care of me, which put me at ease. In my case, I had no pain, and the swelling went down relatively quickly. I do not think I had much difficulty immediately after surgery. I returned to daily life quickly and could open my mouth well. My double chin disappeared completely, my salivary glands became smaller, and I am satisfied with the results. However, perhaps because the clinic was busy, the staff seemed to be trying to be kind, but they looked somewhat overwhelmed.. Personally, I think they may need to hire more people.
