Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

[Three-part facial contouring review] My lateral cheekbones were my biggest stress, but three-part contouring plus soft-tissue contouring changed my facial line a lot

My lateral cheekbones were originally my biggest source of stress. Even in a front-facing photo, my cheekbones looked wide, and from a 45-degree angle they stood out even more, so I kept deliberating over facial contouring surgery. I visited more than ten clinics, and although Cookie was expensive, its cheekbone line was closest to the facial shape I wanted, from a neat line to a more dramatic one. Since it also seemed to be a popular place for cheekbone revisions, I thought they could address my cheekbone complex most effectively. This time I had three-part facial contouring—cheekbone reduction, square-jaw reduction, and chin surgery—and also soft-tissue contouring because I wanted to organize the volume of my whole face rather than only reduce the outer bony line. The first stage of soft-tissue contouring included buccal fat removal, facial liposuction, and double-chin liposuction. Before surgery, I had some fullness in my cheeks as well as prominent cheekbones, which made my face look somewhat blunt overall. After reducing the buccal fat and both cheeks and suctioning the double chin, my facial line looks cleaner after contouring surgery. From the front, cheekbone and jaw reduction made my face feel narrower, and advancement and length adjustment of the chin made my facial shape look more refined than before. From the side, I can also see a difference where the double-chin liposuction was performed, and the line from under my jaw to the chin looks cleaner. My whole outer face also feels lighter, probably because I had both buccal-fat and cheek liposuction. I originally thought reducing only the cheekbones would be enough, but after looking at the CT and consulting with Dr. Jeong Seong-mo, I was told it would be better to organize not only the bony contours but also the soft tissue around the cheeks and under the chin, so I proceeded with both because I wanted to see a clear contouring effect. The swelling still needs to go down more, but comparing the before-and-after photos now, I am most satisfied that the lateral cheekbones I was most concerned about have been reduced and my facial line has become softly refined. People around me often say I look more feminine and that my impression has become gentler haha. Sensation is returning (apparently the chin is the last to recover), and I can eat freely now, so I am no longer managing my diet.
